Dennis J. Murphy is a lifelong California native and moved to the Bay Area 25 years ago. Having lived everywhere from San Francisco to the South Bay, East Bay, and now the Peninsula for the past 12 years, Dennis has in depth knowledge of Bay Area real estate, and most specifically, the Peninsula!
He began his career in sales, marketing, and advertising and has more than 25 years of experience from working with companies such as the Oakland A’s, Denver Broncos, Pier 39, and various television media companies. Dennis’ professional career has been client focused on buying and selling residential real estate on the Peninsula with over $75 Million in transactions.

In 2002 I started A company called Moms Inc. Moms Inc. was a personal organization company that supported Moms and their families with the day in and day out challenges of family life. In the two years of running Moms Inc. I became aware of a much larger challenge facing families today. My clients were becoming overwhelmed and struggling with the realization that their parents were getting older, living alone and had no support system. My passion for our Seniors really grew and I decided to follow a that path.
In 2004 I started a company, Julia’s Helping Hands. Julia’s Helping Hands works in collaboration with Seniors and their families, transitioning their parents to a safe, secure and nurturing home. We create a seamless circle of support for your love ones, by duplicating their existing home while downsizing into their place of choice. They will be surrounded by all their most important and treasured things. Julia’s Helping Hands is a full service company. We transition not only senior but families downsizing and relocating. We clear out unwanted items, donate, and Estate Sale all items that will generate money for you and your family that can assist you with expenses that may occur during this time. We use all of our expertise and lend a Helping Hand during the most challenging of times.

I started in the senior industry in 1998. I began working as a staffing manager for a home-care agency serving the Bay Area. I provided clients with caregivers in their homes to assist with activities of daily living. There, I quickly discovered that seniors encounter many needs that are always changing. I increasingly became a referral source for their various needs.
My career expanded and over the next 20 years, I became an Executive Director of several Independent, Assisted Living, and Dementia Communities. I know first hand the challenges and concerns families and loved ones are faced with when trying to find the best possible community to call home.
In 2016, I decided to start Helping Hand Senior Placement Services. A no cost referral service to help facilitate the process of finding a new home. Families and loved ones so often become so overwhelmed when touring communities and rightfully so. I have done the research so that you have one less thing to worry about. I will meet with you one-on-one and discuss what matters most to you. I will make recommendations based on your wants, needs, budget and my experience.
Once the selection is made – I will be with you through the entire process. I will tour with you and share unbiased insights and recommendations in order to assure that all your questions and concerns are addressed. I will build a tour plan and itinerary, set community expectations and maximize your time, while keeping sales & marketing people from contacting you directly. I will stay involved to advocate for family and loved ones. I will guide and help you transition every step of the way so that you feel comfortable from day one. I am ready to help you make the right choice the first time.
